Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center

Backstage Tour

Now you, too, can walk the hallowed halls that performers such as Liza Minelli, Etta James, Joe Cocker, Blondie, Robert Cray, and many more have tread.  You, too, can sit in the star dressing room, and pretend to throw a fit over a missed or incorrect item on your tour rider – or just listen to us tell some juicy behind-the-scenes stories!

Take selfies on the stage or in the tech booth!  Hear the tales collected over WHBPAC’s storied history about celebrities, staff, volunteers, and patrons navigating the hectic, fast-paced world of live performance.  Which male performer set off our fire alarm between sound check and show by using too much hairspray?  What kind of hi jinx do the staff and volunteers get into when patrons aren’t around?  Which diva was obsessed with eating a perfect peach before she would perform? You’ll have to take the tour to find out…

The fine print: you absolutely must wear a mask 100% of the time you are in the building.  You must distance yourself from anyone not in your household a minimum of 6 feet where applicable.  Tour groups are limited to 6 persons and are only given by appointment – sorry, no walk ins.  Photography is encouraged, but the WHBPAC will not provide you with photography equipment, nor be liable for any damaged, lost, or stolen equipment.  WHBPAC strives to make all areas of the tour accessible to anybody who wishes to take it, regardless of mobility or disability.  The tour is free of charge, but donations are STRONGLY encouraged.
