Honoree Cody Hoyt with Family

About our honoree:

Cody Hoyt is the owner of 7 Fitness, a private fitness and wellness facility located in Westhampton Beach.  Cody was born and raised in Babylon, NY.  He attended SUNY Cortland where he played lacrosse for four years while earning a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education.  Upon graduation from college, Cody became a Health and Physical Education teacher at Westhampton Beach High School.  Throughout his tenure, Cody has also taken on the position of varsity boys soccer coach as well as assistant boys lacrosse coach.  In 2008, Cody started working as a personal trainer and sports conditioning coach to meet the needs of the community. And in 2019, Cody took the passion he had for fitness and opened a high-end private fitness and wellness facility. Cody recognized his members’ need to continue taking care of their physical and mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic, and provided them with virtual workouts. It is his belief that fitness and wellness should be prioritized in order to maintain strong physical and mental health, and he is looking to create a culture that encourages these beliefs for the community.  Cody is proud to live and work in a town that has provided him and his family with countless positive experiences and opportunities.  Cody currently lives in East Quogue with his magnificent wife Dana and their three children: Falyn, Blake, and Tatum.  In his free time Cody enjoys being active and doing anything and everything with his family.  Cody is extremely humbled and honored to receive this recognition. On being the tournament’s honoree, Cody says, “I am fulfilled to know that my passion and hard work has impacted others, especially in the community that I feel has given so much to me.”
