Valentine’s Blood Drive
Thursday, February 18 @ 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Sure, you could celebrate Valentine’s Day this year by buying into the rampant consumerism – snapping up all the fancy chocolates and teddy bears to try and show a loved one you care.
Or you could celebrate the loves in your life by actually being a better person. You could give a fellow New Yorker the rest of their life just by giving up an hour of your time and a pint of your blood. New York’s blood supply is critically low, and the pandemic is affecting the ability of NYBC to carry out drives. You can help change that.
And hey, it may not be candlelight and roses, but you’re guaranteed to get a cookie at the end.
Donations are by appointment only. Donors should bring their photo ID, must wear a mask, and must be 14 days symptom-free if recovered from COVID-19. They will have their temperature taken at the door. NYBC does not test for COVID-19.
