Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center

#GivingTuesday2018

This #GivingTuesday, November 27th, Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center asks for your social-media and financial support for the continued growth of its celebrated arts education program!

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide.  This year’s #GivingTuesday takes place on Tuesday, November 27th and kicks off the giving season by inspiring people to collaborate and give back.

As part of the celebration, WHBPAC will publish several snippets of digital content on its social media channels throughout the day Tuesday, to both educate the public on what it takes to run the venue and its programs, as well as highlight the fun that is had by its students, patrons and staff.

The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center has been a staple of the community since its founding in 1997. Over the past 20 years, the WHBPAC Arts Academy has touched the lives of over 200,000 children from diverse socio-economic backgrounds across Long Island, New York City, and beyond. Nearly 10,000 children participate in week-long camps, after-school classes, and School Days performances annually. All classes and camps culminate in full-scale productions on the WHBPAC stage and are directed by teaching artists with impressive professional credits.  School Days performances allow area educators to use WHBPAC as an extension of their classrooms, and expose students to high-quality theatre productions from around the world. And now, the Arts Academy is expanding to include performing arts offerings for adults, including its Mommy Moments morning program and Sip and Speak public speaking course. All Arts Academy programs seek to instill confidence, empathy, and a love of the arts in participants.
